Since moving into the building in July of last year, we have had an overwhelming amount of support and interest in how we are going to use this building in the long-term, and also when we are going to be able to use the main auditorium as a cinema again.

Currently, we are in the process of renovating the main auditorium and due to its complicated listed status and essential structural work, whilst considering a range of health and safety factors, the completion date is further away than expected.

We are currently working with a team of experts from Studio Indigo, Charcoal Blue, and various heritage and conservation experts to put together a comprehensive planning application to sympathetically renovate the building in its entirety.

We have stripped back the modern façades in the main auditorium, exposing the old wooden floorboards, ornate wall coverings and plasterwork royal boxes for the first time in almost 100 years, and we are now in the pre-planning stages with RBKC council.

We would like to invite you to find out more about our plans for the building, by signing up to our mailing list here, where you will be among the first to hear how we are progressing.
