We are delighted to announce that The Print Room has now moved to our permanent new home: The Coronet, and we are now officially open for our Autumn Season 2014.

Our box office is open from 12noon daily, so do come and see us to say hello!

We are restoring the beautiful historic building, which started life in 1898 as a Victorian theatre and currently operates as a two-screen cinema. The building will be fully modernised and made into a cultural space to rival any in London. 

Amidst the grandeur of The Coronet, we will protect intimate spaces to carry on the mission of The Print Room - to provide theatre in which the audience participates up-close and personal.

We have long term plans including three flexible theatre spaces - the largest of which will remain fully operational as a cinema with both 35mm and digital facilities; rehearsal and workshop spaces; administration offices and a restaurant and bar.

We have launched our inaugural season this autumn in the smaller cinema space, which will be converted into an intimate 100 seat theatre. The larger space will continue to operate as a cinema, and is due to open in Spring 2015.  The restoration will take place in stages, with different sections of the building opening as work in each area is completed.

We still have a lot of work to do at The Coronet. This is the end of our first act, and the start of the next. We have valued all of the backing and encouragement this community has given us over the last five years, and we hope you will visit us soon in our new home.
