The Print Room was founded in 2008 by Anda Winters and Lucy Bailey. It took them 3 years to convert this small fifties warehouse into a simple flexible theatre space.

They opened the theatre in September 2010 with a four day exhibition of work 'The Imaginary Painters Workshop' by Belgian artists Sofie Lachaert & Luc D'Hanis.

This was then followed by the UK premiere of the verse drama Fabrication by the filmmaker Pier Paulo Pasolini.

The winter season culminated with The City of Lost Angels, a theatrical staging of the new album by the singer Petra Jean Philipson.

This is how Lucy and Anda want to continue – staging exciting undiscovered pieces by well-known writers, and working with emerging and talented artists from all fields.
