In this special late-night lecture, theatre director, two time Close-up Magician of the year and National Theatre Magic Consultant Simon Evans presents a magic show with a difference: an enlightening, mind-blowing and sometimes hilarious exploration of these questions and more, dissecting the mechanics that trigger wonder.
Join us for this intimate and engaging performance which matches unbelievable magic effects with their underlying methods, exploring what makes jaws drop. Part lecture, part performance, mostly magic show; a witty and wondrous master class on the art which conceals its art, which might put you a step ahead of the conjuror when you're next asked to "Pick a card."
