Due to the nature of historical Victorian buildings, access in The Coronet is limited, this is something we are looking at in our renovation plan but all this takes time, money and planning permission.

Studio space

To enter the studio space (three splits, table of delights) there are six steps at the rear of the building that access patrons can be taken to prior to the rest of the audience enters.  There is also a Stanner stair-lift that can be used, for patrons who are unable to leave their wheelchairs we do have ramps that we can put down, however this can only be used with standard wheelchairs and not with electric.

Main Space

To enter the main space stairs are unavoidable, there is an access entrance again at the rear of the building, this will bring you to eight small steps with a handrail, and unfortunately we currently do not have any way to give access to a patron that cannot leave a wheelchair.

On arrival there is a bell on the outside of the building for access patrons who require assistance, there are three small steps of the outside of the building and staff will be happy to bring chairs down into the foyer should they be required.

For more information or to discuss any of this with a member of staff please call our box office
